Coronavirus: postponement of all cruises until the 15th of July 2020 included
The evolution of the current situation related to COVID-19 and the international pandemic leads us to extend the postponement of our cruises through (an inclusive) July 15, 2020.
The safety and well-being of our passengers and our crews remains at the center of our concerns and all of our decisions and actions will be taken with that in mind.
Several European countries, including France, have acted on a European Commission concession tacitly relaxing the requirements of the EU Package Travel Directive, allowing travel business to amend their own interpretations of the directive allowing businesses to defer refunds.
Croisieurope has therefore temporarily amended their trading policy.
Clients holding a reservation that has been affected by postponed dates can rebook their cruise or will receive a refund credit note which corresponds to the amount that have already been paid.
A refund credit note entitles customers to rebook a cruise holiday at a future date or receive a cash refund at the expiry date of the note at the latest.
This refund credit note will be valid for 18 months from the date of issue and can be redeemed against bookings made before December 15, 2021, on any cruise subject to availability.
If the price of your new cruise exceeds the amount of the refund credit note the difference may have to be paid. If the price of your new cruise is less expensive than the difference in price will be carried over as a refund credit note with the same terms of validity.
Rest assured that all of our employees are engaged in dealing with this extraordinary situation.
