New ship to cruise the mekong in style

In 2014 CroisiEurope took over the Mekong river cruise company “Compagnie fluviale du Mekong”, with its four ships including the RV Indochine, which has been used by the French cruise line since 2011.

The small fleet sailing the Mekong between Cambodia and Vietnam is set to welcome a new addition in 2017, with a brand new ship designed and built by CroisiEurope's engineers. The vessel is currently under construction in Vietnam, which our technical team regularly visit to monitor the progress of the work, supervised by our local agent based in the CroisiEurope offices in Phom Penh.

Larger than the other four ships in the fleet, the RV Indochine II is classed as a five-anchor vessel and measures 65 metres long by 13 metres wide. This new triple-deck ship will take 60 passengers travelling onboard, with 30 bright, spacious cabins each measuring 18.5 m2 and fitted with a private terrace.

The inside of the ship has been designed for ultimate comfort. Each cabin has a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, safe, lots of storage space, a hairdryer, dressing gowns, towels, and wireless internet connection.

Its contemporary and elegant design is inspired by the colonial style, underlined by the wonderful materials and colours, just right for the itinerary sailing from Siem Reap to Saigon in 13 days.

Last but not least, the sundeck is perfect for relaxing and spending a fantastic time, with the swimming pool, bar, massage parlour, book rental service and entertainment provided during navigation from one port of call to the next. Conferences, shows and talks are scheduled to make this hugely popular trip culturally enriching.

If they so wish, passengers can flight in a day earlier and stay in a hotel, in order to recover from jetlag. CroisiEurope is the only river cruise line to sail the Chao Goa canal and to dock in Ho Chi Minh City for two nights.
