Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, is no stranger to tourists. Join us for a tour of the heart of the island and its charming villages surrounded by farmland and olive and almond groves. We’ll take in the beauty of the Serra de Tramuntana, a mountain range that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site that forms a backbone on the island along the northwestern coast. We’ll visit Valldemossa, a village steeped in old-world charm, tucked in the middle of the mountains, and surrounded by lush forests. Our tour includes the Valldemossa Charterhouse, where George Sand and Frederic Chopin wrote and composed, respectively, some of their greatest work.
