La Dolce Vita along the Italian coast:

Naples, the Amalfi Coast, the Aeolian Islands and Sicily

Experience Italy's Dolce Vita on a cruise along Italy's boot to Sicily.

This journey will take you to discover splendid landscapes, picturesque towns and fascinating volcanic islands. Departing from vibrant Naples at the foot of majestic Mount Vesuvius, you'll embark on a journey along the Amalfi Coast, with its breathtaking cliffs, colourful villages and exceptional panoramas.

Naples, one of Europe's oldest cities, will fascinate you with its historic monuments and exceptional archaeological sites: Pompeii and Herculaneum, two cities frozen in time by the cataclysmic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. You'll marvel at the incredibly well-preserved ruins of these Roman cities, which offer a vivid insight into the daily life of the Roman Empire.

You'll then sail through the Aeolian Islands, a unique volcanic archipelago off Sicily's northern coast, revealing ancient remains and panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, an extraordinary sight before making your first stop at the Black Pearl of the Mediterranean, Milazzo.

After crossing the famous Strait of Messina, you'll enjoy the romantic atmosphere of Taormina's ancient theatre against the backdrop of Mount Etna, which you can venture out onto before heading to Calabria, known for its unspoilt natural beauty at the southernmost tip of Italy, offering landscapes of sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters and mountain backdrops.

Back in Naples, discover Capri, a legendary island offering magnificent panoramic views over the Bay of Naples, where you'll be seduced by the charm of its villages perched between sea and sky.

Prepare to be seduced by the charm of Naples, amazed by the beauty of the Amalfi coast, impressed by the Aeolian archipelago and captivated by the treasures of Sicily.
