An unforgettable cruise from Dubrovnik to Valleta!
Next winter, La Belle de l'Adriatique will set out again to conquer Malta and Sicily throughout November, before venturing along the Amalfi Coast in December. Before returning for a second year in a row for the winter season, the ship will sail an exclusive itinerary between Croatia and Malta for a unique cruise from Dubrovnik, jewel of the Adriatic coast, to Valletta, city of the Knights, stopping off in towns that will reveal historical, architectural and natural wonders.
The cruise starts in Dubrovnik, where you'll be captivated by the medieval beauty of this fortified city, nicknamed the "Pearl of the Adriatic". Stroll along the imposing ramparts that surround the old town, discover its historic churches, elegant palaces and charming cobbled squares, as well as the famous Stradun street, the Baroque cathedral and the Franciscan monastery.
On to Puglia, Italy, with a first stop in Bari, where you'll discover the lively atmosphere of this port city and explore its historic centre, with the magnificent Basilica of St. Nicholas and the Swabian Castle.
Our next stop is Otranto, with its charming historic centre, narrow streets, impressive Aragonese castle and cathedral, notable for its 12th-century mosaics.
You can also take a trip to Lecce, the "Baroque Florence". Nestled in the heel of the Italian boot, the city exuberantly displays its splendor. You'll admire its incredibly rich monuments: the Duomo, the Bishop's Palace and the Seminary, part of the Roman amphitheatre rediscovered between 1904 and 1938, and the sumptuous Basilica of Santa Croce.
Our penultimate stop is in Syracuse, the Land of Wonders, where you'll delve into the ancient history of this fascinating city, once one of the greatest powers of ancient Greece and the birthplace of the famous mathematician Archimedes. We'll travel to the island of Ortigia, which stretches along a bay, and visit the old city of Syracuse, which lies on the island.
You'll be able to admire many important sites, such as the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the famous Fountain of Arethusa and the famous Piazza del Duomo, one of the most evocative squares of Italian Baroque.
Finally, you'll end your tour in Valletta, where you'll discover an impressive capital city and its rich cultural mosaic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its impressive bastions, narrow streets and majestic palaces. You'll visit the famous St. John's Cathedral to admire the works of Caravaggio, stroll through the gardens of Upper Barrakka to enjoy panoramic views of the Grand Harbour, and discover the treasures of maritime history at the National Museum of Archaeology.
With an itinerary carefully designed to capture the essence of each port of call, this maritime adventure promises lasting memories and unforgettable discoveries through fascinating destinations blending history, culture and natural beauty. Don't miss this unique opportunity to sail the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean!
