Day 1


Passengers are welcome to board at 6:00 p.m. in Strasbourg. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Tonight is our festive Alsatian-themed evening. Join us in the restaurant for the region’s famous choucroute garnie and an evening of dancing. During the night, our ship will leave for Breisach.

Day 2


Join us for an optional excursion on the Alsatian Wine Route (lunch included). A symbol of Alsatian pleasures, the route is over 100 miles long (170 km) and strings together colorful villages and famous vineyards. We’ll stop off at a wine cellar for a narrated tasting* of some acclaimed Alsatian wines. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Colmar, tucked in between the Vosges Mountains and the Black Forest. You’ll get a good taste for its undeniable charm as you stroll down the streets lined with half-timbered homes and quaint canals.

“Top Hits” Evening: Twist and shout to some of the most iconic French hits from the 1960s and 70s! Our ship will cruise through the night.

Day 3


We’ll spend the morning on an optional guided visit of Basel, a veritable crossroads of European cultures. We’ll discover the old town and its various passages and medieval monuments before stopping at Läckerli Huus and sampling their delicious chocolates and cookies. We’ll then spend the afternoon cruising to Rhinau.

“Alsatian Traditions” CONTEST: Participants will answer questions, and the winner will be entered in the random drawing at the end of the cruise. Disco night. Slip on those bell-bottoms, get yourself a Farrah Fawcett hairdo, and practice those Saturday Night Fever moves on the floor at our Disco Night Party!

Day 4


We’ll spend the morning cruising. “Alsatian Traditions” CONTEST: Participants will answer questions, and the winner will be entered in the random drawing at the end of the cruise.

This afternoon, join us for an optional excursion to Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle and Sélestat. We’ll enjoy a guided tour of the castle, plunging us into life during the Middle Ages. Once you cross over the drawbridge, you’ll find yourself in fully furnished and decorated living quarters surrounded by collections of medieval weapons. We’ll then drive to Sélestat to discover the heart of this historic city and visit the Humanist Library, one of the three great cultural treasures in Alsace after the cathedral in Strasbourg and the Isenheim Altarpiece in Colmar. The library’s oldest collection includes medieval manuscripts and prints from the 16th century.

Or set out for an amazing afternoon at Europa-Park in Germany, just elected the best amusement park in the world for the fifth year in a row. You’ll have fun no matter what your age. The amusement park is small but jam-packed with diverse, fun-filled adventure. Daring roller coasters, scenic strolls, and themed rides will provide thrills and surprises for everyone.

At the end of the day, we’ll return on board the ship. Tonight is our festive gala evening. Our ship will begin to cruise to Strasbourg.
