RV Rostropovitch

RV Rostropovich, also known as “AmaKatarina”, is named after a famous Russian cellist and conductor: Mstislav Rostropovich. It is one of the most luxurious ships on Russian waters, comparable to a 5* hotel. This 4-deck Premium ship was built in 1980, in Czechoslovakia, and then completely renovated and redecorated in 2009.

The RV Rostropovitch is an intimate-sized premium ship, measuring 135 metres long and 16,8 metres wide. It can accommodate 212 passengers, in 106 cabins spread over 4 decks. Each cabin offers amenities and provides guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The decoration is well thought out and the atmosphere, both intimate and friendly, is in perfect harmony with its surroundings. The ship’s common spaces include a large panoramic lounge / bar, a meeting room for meetings and on-board entertainment, a fitness room with solarium, a hair salon and an infirmary. An elevator serves all the decks. Wi-Fi access is available in the panoramic lounge. Entertainment on board the Rostropovich centers around shows and activities designed to provide guests with an experience of authentic Russian culture and history.
